From Recruitment to Recording - Managing a Music Career

This weeks episode we are talking to Alison Thompson - Mum of singing sensation Cormac Thompson.

Alison has gone from a career in HR, specialising in recruitment for 20 years to a recording studio and managing Cormac's singing career.

This has involved lots of driving about to various concerts, competitions and recording sessions (eg. BBC Young Chorister of the Year and Britain's Got Talent and a performance at The Royal Albert Hall) and supporting him to build an on-line fan base through YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and his social media.  

Alison has learnt this from scratch and continues to learn as Cormac moves into his teenage years.
